It was about time we got our very own studio getaway, and we marked Melbourne as our first stop!
So, we've rounded up our trip highlights right here, and we hope you enjoy the pictures as much as we do.
First things first, breakfast
Our first order of business after being landed was to grab breakfast at Higher Ground.
Brunch is quintessential
Because, what else would you be doing in Melbs?
Australian architecture
Needless to say, they are all ahhmazing!
Exhibition hopping
Screen Worlds @ the Film, TV, Video Games, Digital Culture & Art Museum has all things digital from the past, present and future. Think 60's films, 80's telephones, and 90's console games.
The Wallace & Gromit exhibition was definitely one of our most eye-opening stops, featuring the show's original set pieces, clays, artwork, sketches and every detail bits that made the studio's claymation happen. The experience was truly top notch.
Melbourne Zoo
The whole time we were pondering why there were more primates than kangaroos and koalas — but yeah, primates are good too.
Picnic life
Homemade burritos, salads, chips, salsa, guac, ojs, and a guardian seagull with us.
Also our first time trying the coffee-flavoured coke.
Odd, but tasty!
& The Other things we did:
Furniture shopping
Vintage market crawling;
Coffee fix @ Brother Baba Budan;
And we couldn't have missed Hosier Lane, of course.
Gelato @ Pidapipo Gelateria — so good we had it thrice;
Ramen slurping @ Hakata Gensuke;
Pictures for Part 2 are coming real soon, stay tuned!
